We have doors in the laundry room!
So many things got shoved into the soon to be sewing room, when the other room had to be emptied! After the new guest room was carpeted and painted, a lot of this got put in there.
It's current state, sheet rocked and spackled.
And I'm back to working on the counted cross stitch!

My husband and I are both retired teachers in NJ. He just retired from his part time job in Dec and we are on the same path as you. We ordered replacement windows last month. This week we had an old plaster ceiling replaced and my husband is getting ready to repaint the room. He is also talking about having the house repainted and then next year redoing the kitchen.
