It really is straight, he was holding it funny. Coastal Ripple.

 Something I never heard of!

I love this color combo! Saving the pic for future reference!

Beautiful October

I love October! The heat is gone, humidity is down. I could do without the earlier sunsets, but okay.

The adorable youngest member of the family, my great nephew Ben. Sadly, his dad is deceased. His mom is doing such a great job with him.

This year's Hess truck is out! I ordered it for Garrett for Christmas. He loves his Hess trucks.

Coastal Ripple is coming along! I think this is #12 for this year of the full sized afghans, along with a baby afghan and a Mocha afghan. It's another Attic 24 free pattern from the talented Lucy.

October

 I did a quickie project!

Steph asked me for a small afghan for Mocha. She's part dachshund, and they love to nest. She likes to nest on the big afghan on Steph and Dan's bed, so Steph wants a little afghan for Mocha's bed. It's 29 clusters square, about 28 inches square. Mocha is 15 inches, so Steph thinks it will be a perfect size.

Mocha's afghan is done, so now I'm back to working on Coastal Ripple.

I tweaked my lower back somehow, so I'm taking it easy, taking advil and using heat. It's already improved a lot.

October is here!

It's been ridiculously humid this week, but not warm enough to put the air back on.

These were on Deals and Steals, and so silly that I had to send them to Julianna!

Best book of the summer! So many twists, and a jaw dropping ending!

 A new start! Coastal Ripple.

Then I got a text from Steph. Mocha is part dachshund, so she loves to nest, and loves to get in and under the afghan on their bed, so could I make her an afghan for her doggie bed? Of course I can! Coastal can sit for the short time it will take to make a Mocha afghan!

I got my flu and Covid boosters on Thursday. By Thursday night both arm ached and I felt exhausted and headachey. Friday was a lost day, I slept half the day. Today I have a red mark on the flu shot site, but feel okay. Note to self, next year get the shots seperately! I still need the RSV and shingles vaccines, which I'll get separately!
