Work in Progress Wednesday!

 It's a finished project!

108 rows, double crochet, two strands- one of a color, one white. It weighs a ton! I only crocheted in the back loops to give it more texture.

I have enough partial skeins to make maybe one more scrapghan.

I started with this and added some white.

This is how it's looking! K hook, two strands of yarn, double crochet picking up the back loops only. It's going to be heavy and warm! And I'm binge watching Grey's Anatomy while crocheting.

I sent the little kids blanket sweat shirts, and they love them. They are one size for everyone, and Garrett is swamped in his, but he loves the sharks.

I also sent them electronic drawing pads, and fruit smelling gel pens. Garrett said they are something he's always wanted, which made me laugh. It makes me sad that I can't give them little gifts in person, since they live 3000 miles away, but I'm thankful for amazon. 

After several warm/hot days, it's breezy and chilly today.

Granny stripe afghan for Amary! It went incredibly fast! While working on it, I got hooked on Grey's Anatomy on Netflix. Very soapy, and so addicting!

Now I'm starting an afghan with these leftovers.

We had Easter dinner at Heather's, so I took Honey a new baby, a bunny. Honey loves her babies!

OMG, this is amazing!

Suddenly it's spring! Temps have been in the 70's and 80's! Sleeping with the windows open- yay! Seasonal allergies- boo!

 Yesterday was the 16th anniversary of my dad's sudden death.

Tomorrow would be his 99th birthday! We miss him so much!

I had a bunch of partial skeins of yarn, so I decided to start a granny stripe afghan.

It has a pattern to it- cream, yellow, gray, pink, blue, purple, teal, and green, just different shades as the spirit moves me.

It's moving fast! About a half hour per row. I sent a pic to Manda to see if Amary likes it, and she does, so it's now Amary's afghan. 

I read 17 books in March, 10 of them on the kindle. Total for the year so far is 36, 14 on the kindle.
