March finish!

 Tori's afghan is done!

I love it so much, and can't wait for her to get it.

Last weekend we went to see Jules in her school production of Grease. She had a speaking (but not singing) role, as Patty the cheerleader. Patty flounced a lot, which Jule is a champion of! Of course, Eddie and Steph came to see her.

I stole this pic from online. I can't even imagine how much gray. yarn and stuffing this took!

I got tired of not being able to find anything! So I emptied out both lazy Susan cabinets and organized them, and updated my inventory spread sheets. Ralph helped by helping sort and handing me things to put back.

Mike, Donna, Michael, Samantha, Jacob, Molly and Joey went to Florida for a few days to install a ramp for John. I told John that sometimes "I love you" sounds like "We're coming to build you a ramp." The guys were doing construction, the ladies were going to hang out at the pool at the VRBO.

And today is Mike's birthday! We bookmark March with brother birthdays- Frank is the 1st, Mike is the 31st.

Almost out of March!

This month has gone by fast!

I've spent a good amount of this month working on my great niece Tori's afghan. She got a baby afghan when she was born, of course, but now that she's grown up (and a police officer!) it was time to make her a grown up afghan. I asked her what color she wanted it to include, and she said dark green.  It's the first shell stitch afghan I've done, and I'm very happy with it.

Here's a closer up picture, showing the detail. It's 5 colors- dark green, pale green, white, gray, and a variegated gray, green and white.

Yesterday I took down the St Patrick's gnomes and put up the Easter gnomes. I love them, so cheerful.

I sent Amary and Garrett Easter sticker books, and Manda sent me this pic yesterday. Such a sweet girl!

Ralph being silly!

Once Upon a Time

That was the theme of Juliana's Sweet Sixteen Ball.

It was such a lovely day, lots of friends and family there.

Julianna and her friends made a grand entrance down the spiral staircase.

Eddie and Steph looking spiffy.

Mama Heather and Julianna.

Me, aka Grammy, Julianna and Aunt Steph.

Aunt Steph wore her fascinator and Uncle Dan was in his formal tuxedo shirt.

Mike and Donna and their brood, the guys looking
lobster formal.

Lots of dancing! Half the dance class was there.

It was just the most wonderful day!
