My friend Carol is in the ICU, after a freaky accident. She forgot she had put her car in reverse, and got out to pick up something. The car started moving, and she couldn't jump back in or get out of the way fast enough, and was knocked down and hit. Went to ER, was released. Some days later, shin pain and swelling. Dickie took a pic to their doc, who sent her for wound care. The wound people sent her to a higher level ER. She was admitted, had an incision & drainage, and has a massive infection. She's having a second surgery today.
We're really worried about her. That's a lot to put your body through.
And I think about her constantly.
