Wow!

 It's been weeks since I did a blog post! Life has just been busy, and I was uninspired.

 First, Steph and Dan came for a short visit! We got in some visiting time, and they went to his parents for an early Thanksgiving. They got in on Thursday night, late, and left early Monday morning, so it was a quickie visit. Steph had an east coast meeting, so came here after, and Dan joined her. 

 Julianna was a player in the school production of Clue, but we didn't get to see it because we were with Steph and Dan, and it was a very small part.

 Steph and Dan left Monday morning, and Monday night, the Briles arrived! The first they've been here for Turkey Day since before Amary was born! We had 8 days with them, and it zipped by. We had Thanksgiving dinner together with Heather and family, and Saturday we had the whole family to Heather's, and among other things, played with hats.

Everyone had so much fun visiting, and eating.

Then, Monday morning, construction on our porch began. We're turning a screened in porch into a 3 season porch.

 

I forgot to take a before picture, but this is after the screening was taken down.

Day 2 he did some framing.

Day 3 he put up plywood, which will be cut down when he puts the windows in. Today is Day 4, and he's out there now.

So November has been busy! I miss the kids so much!
 

It's November!

 The older I get,  the faster the years go by!

 Coastal Ripple is almost done! A couple more rows and a couple of borders yet to do.

It's great when works in progress are big enough to keep me warm as I work on them!

Manda and Ben and the kids are coming in for a week! I got this for them to construct.
