Summer Funk

I just have not felt like making a post.

Look at this nugget! She's 4 months old!

A pic of my late dad when Eddie was a baby. Dad died in 2007, and Eddie will soon be 22!

Picked up the Skyline 6, and Ralph put filler because she has to sit on top of the table. I'm having trouble treading her, and I'm sure it's me, not her.

Jul graduated, and Baby Boone was the life of the party! Aunt Sharon nabbed her, but later let her be passed around. It was such a terrific party that we stayed til 1 a.m.- Boone left much earlier, a girl needs her sleep!

Thunderstorms

It's so  dark and dreary and rainy out.

Our Jake, Mike and Donna's baby, got engaged to his Molly! They've been going together for about 5 years, and plan to marry in another 5! Jake turned 25 yesterday, Molly is about the same age.

What book with a twist! Now I have to see the movie!

Carol's Memorial service was so nice. It was great to see everyone, and Carol will be so missed.

Carol was the queen of Longaberger, so there was no more fit place to put her ashes than a basket- Kamee assured us there was another container inside, LOL. We loved it!

I just paid the rest of the month's bills online, yay. The only thing I pay with a check is the quarterly MUA bill, they want a $7 "convenience fee" to pay online. Not happening. We drop off the check at the office.

I'm working on the next set of table runners!

Hello June!

We sloshed thru May, June is starting out drier, and it's warmer.

June is a bittersweet month. It includes Manda and Jacob's birthdays, Manda and Ben's anniversary, and the anniversary of Joseph's death. This year Jules will graduate high school.

I did a thing! I ordered a Janome Skyline 6 Anniversary Edition. It will come in the end of June. I've watched a bunch of videos of it, and it'll be quite the upgrade from my 21 year old Janome 6500, which I'm keeping.

This is my sewing table, which I bought at an estate sale years ago. Best buy ever! I had places for two machines, which is handy. I think I'll move Moose to the wall side, and put the new one where Moose is now.

I made two fabric books from panels for Baby Boone. I'm happy with how they turned out.
